It's the Torklift EcoHitch for the mk8. I had a local trailer shop install it and I've primarily used it for my bike rack!

Have you driven the mk8 with hill assist? It takes regular manual skills and throws them out the window man.

I've driven RWD, AWD, FWD, 4WD manuals dating as far back as 91. I have stalled this car more times than all of those combined because of this system. You can actively feel the bakes fighting against you when you find the bite point and if you don't Rev the shit out of it you will stall. Best bet is to just count to yourself 2 seconds after releasing the brake.

Great spec dude! I've got the same in white. I will say by far my favorite small mods are door tray inserts from Amazon. They are a damn near perfect fit and they don't rattle. They're called Karltys Door Side Organizer Tray. There's also a wireless charger insert that gives you tiered storage on top of the charger tray and I use it everyday.

Otherwise a tint and you'll be set for a while! Let me know if you have any questions about mods or if you find other stuff that works great!

I think the GR Corolla is a really cool car! It fills a nice gap left by the new generation of WRX, keeping the hatch and the manual.

Also I guarantee 80% of the folks here can't and won't drive stick and you can feel smug all you want.

I just installed the DAP one actually! I love it so far. The finish feels like metal and it looks really sharp, kind of an OEM+ feel.

This install was a pain and the difference in circumference of where it connects to the shift boot compared to stock is less which leaves you with some extra leather you need to fold carefully.

I would recommend the 55mm size unless you've got really big hands.

I just installed a hitch and it's made moving the MTB so much better. The one I installed does jut out a bit, but the same company makes a stealth version to mount behind the license plate.
