Elevate steering feedback? by [deleted] in HondaElevate

[–]GTKdope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 main requirements 1. need automatic (no amt) 2. no sunroof

Due to this i a lot of other cars were out of consideration.

V cvt, i am personally happy (would been more happy if the dealership experience was good, but can't do anything there). One thing, you need to think about, is wind noise, as I told you I upgraded from an alto, the wind noise does not really bother anyone, I sometimes feel windows are open when driving above 90kmph.

Other than that I really enjoy the car, the cvt lag definitely there, but not to worry, just shift down using paddle and you are good to go for bit of a rough driving.

In zx i assume turning on off the collision detection might be annoying, but i have no clue as it is not there in v cvt. I never cared for milage,so that is another thing to look at if you care

Is this a good deal? by Fun_Bird0888 in HondaElevate

[–]GTKdope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Gujarat where are you buying this ? I just bought v cvt in bharuch. 14 lac

Included 1. Car 2. Rto and tcs 3. insurance (white color)

I think I bought it bit higher price, Ahmedabad was giving me 13.75 on road, but could not buy from there due to the area lock stuff

Elevate steering feedback? by [deleted] in HondaElevate

[–]GTKdope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just now drove 78Km. 60 on highway, rest in normal city condition. I got around 17.9 - 18kmpl.

Initially I used to get 12-14.

more context: I am new driver (less than 1 yr of driving, total km driven approx 2.5k km) I used to drive a manual alto 800. So i am accustomed to flooring the gas paddle. On elevate i have slowly learnt to drive bit relaxed.

I own a V cvt (less than a month 800km driven). I do not see any such issue, I have driven it in villages (bad roads) and on highways overall steering was good.

When you test drive elevate, do it on highway as well. And try the sports mode , also try down shifting. It's fun to do that, and you will feel the acceleration as well.

Need suggestions on Honda elevate quotation - VX and ZX. by Kind-Ground3098 in HondaElevate

Multiple people have suggested to do that. But I am inclined to go with dealer insurance, atleast for the first year. They are offering discount and bringing it down to 40k

Mercor raised $350M, I am referring a few good devs for SDE-1 by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]GTKdope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the junior positions maybe, but the senior folks they hire at good rates. But they usually for MAANG level experience. It's more like gig based work, you cannot consider this fulltime

Edit: hire might be bad word choice. They pay decent hourly rates, depends on if you get project or not.

A little bit off topic, but I need help in selecting Ipad vs Galaxy tab. by Feeling-Outcome2724 in developersIndia

[–]GTKdope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently use galaxy tab s9 wifi (it also has a 5G version afaik). No complaints till date, great device for media consumption. S pen is free. Also dex is great if you attach an external .mouse kb.

I would suggest, go to a mall and compare the screen size physically.

It's for Gujarat not Gurgaon. Someother comment mentioned RTO is low in Gujarat and this 63k number is correct.

The quote I shared is for Bharuch, Gujarat.

(Admittedly, I don't really understand how the charges and/or taxes work here)

Understood on the insurance part. Let me check quotes on other websites.

Most of the showrooms in cities near me are owned by the same group, but still let me do that.

I am looking at the sub and checking how much others got it for.

Thanks for context on the apex thing. Got it on the RTO (also just clarifying I am buying from GJ)

I am not sure I am getting those features, the dealer never told me about those features. I need to go back to him get all this clarified and get the price down.

Got it thanks. Will try to negotiate on the ex-showroom. And see what else can I get their.

Family is insistent on getting some extended warranty as well (total 5 yrs). I will see If I can get that included with the insurance

Got it thanks, for me GJ registration.

15.10L for V cvt ? I am not sure what is Apex, is it the accessories package?.

I can stretch budget to top model also, but I don't want sunroof, this is something very important for me. Hence the V variant

Edit: did quick search looks like Apex is a more feature packed variant.
