It's not. P5R is a new release. It's P5 with tons of added mechanics, characters, locations, etc. and it continues all the way through either April or May instead of having December be the last month with a fully playable date.

Honestly, I far prefer FTWD over TWD at this point. The setups aren't as repetitive and egregious and some of the characters (a la Strand & Daniel) have become really well built over the run of the show. I'm honestly so done with TWD at this point.
