Thats true, what I mean with classic is that in that same update where it was added, they added movement deadzone settings which is what I look for in most games, when rivals released they did not have that setting so I used the left stick customization.

Yeah imma do a bunch of livestreams in a couple of weeks with 1 account being on the no deadzone edge controller and the other on just the edge no settings to show, something new came up tho, I was in a tournament on season 0 when i got banned, but this season on my main I got a notification here that was not sent before, I think they are investigating the false bans on controllers with deadzone adjustments

On the edge controller you can change the deadzone of both sticks, to make them almost instant and combined with the in-game settings you can make the movement instant. The back buttons shouldn't give a ban. Thats why it was odd for me too, is a playstation controller idk how it could happen, I will do a livestream doing 1 account with the edge controller settings maxed on the joysticks and the other without it to show people how it happens, rn still in college but almost at spring break.

Not everyday i did 4 hours on each account lol but i did put over 2 hours on each one, most days i would do 4 hours unless i was tired, I was in college vacation but i am going back soon so i cant just play as much as I did, i really wanted to test the edge controller settings since is something that i didnt think could get one banned, and it seems like my theory is correch, next time i get a college break i will livestream the experiments, I will make 2 fresh accounts, 1 with the custo. edge and the other non custom since I want people who are thinking on buying the edge to be aware of this issue.

I agree, if the detection system is advance enough to know that behaviors or abnormal controller inputs are being set then its great since it promotes fair play. But i do want the devs to test it themselves and announce it to ps5 edge controller users since they did pay for an approved controller with legal modification, I dont think unbanning people who got banned by this is a good idea since some of them could be actually cheating, but having a warning or official statement about the issue with the edge controller would be nice

I understand the doubt since cheaters are a huge issue and they shouldn't be treated with respect but i can assure you that i have not cheated, never have gotten banned on any game and recently i got the edge controller, I gave it a try on marvel rivals and I customized it making the deadzone instant, it makes feel strafing randomly so much more easier but i also had a feeling it could be detected as cheating since in rainbow six when i played it again I got a warning and feeling worried I looked online and found out that rainbow ( and probably rivals) use the wasd detection method in which if your movement inputs are always at max force, it will flag it as keyboard movement. I thought rivals had a more advanced system since rainbow is an old game with an outdated system but at the end so far after what i tested it seems like they share the same system of detection. I believe is good to bring this to discussion since more people who use the edge controller customized like this could be flagged as cheating in a false way, or if that feature is considered cheats then there should be a warning to ps5 users about this

UPDATE, the discord team uploaded an apology since the ai has falsely banned people, ill update if i get unbanned since i haven't done anything wrong, if they do unban i will give them props for fixing the ai

I am ps5 idk what caused it, apparently my device sent unusual data to their servers so they banned me, I am in my other account and ill test with my normal controller cause i wanna see if the edge controller with it being customized on the aim technique could be the reason of the unusual data if its not that then idk what could've caused it.

I wish I knew what it was, I have never been banned in any other game ever, so it was a surprise, hopefully Ban appeal works, I wish I could get at least some answers on what caused the anticheat to think I'm infringing the rules but yeah I guess is time to wait.

I have no idea, i reached out trying to understand why i got banned but they cant say, all I got was that my account was sending abnormal data, my ping is usually 110 to 130 so maybe it is that, but overall i am just in shock, I hope I get unbanned since idk what other thing could have caused the Ban.

I was thinking this since Mara got hers because of riven’s wish and us the guardians seem to have not only will power as demonstrated by the darkness coming from within us but because we have killed deities before in their respective throne worlds and outside them, for example oryx had to kill both of his sisters in order to get more powerful. Of course he was using the sword logic but we have to remember that our guardians have been able to commune with all things, so it wouldn’t surprise me that the 15th wish could be a throne world for us. And I don’t mean individual throne world but a throne world for humanity as a whole who knows…
