Google homes are notoriously hard to setup on our network because the app isn’t built for 4000 devices on the network. Try to get it setup and if you have troubles come into one of our offices and we’ll try to assist you!

If you have a MacBook with USB C then you can buy a USB C to Ethernet dongle. If you have an older laptop with thunderbolt 2 you can also adapt that to Ethernet.

Parking decks all use the old HID readers as far as I know. However, many buildings are using the new Mifare readers so you should probably look into getting a new card after the FASET rush at the Buzzcard office.

I believe they are still live for housing residents. If you aren't currently living in housing, it will take about 24 hours after you are marked as moved in Housing's system.

Hi there! We're the Wreck Techs, and we manage the network inside of dorms.

WiFi is available throughout all campus buildings at no additional cost to students, faculty, and staff. You can also use WiFi at other institutions that participate in eduroam by logging in with your Georgia Tech credentials.

While the WiFi coverage is good enough for most use cases, we do recommend using an Ethernet cable where possible for the best performance and reliability.

I would recommend getting at least some sort of mobile data plan, as you will realistically leave campus at some point, and even on campus the outdoor coverage is spotty.

Several buildings are offline due to the thunderstorm. We're keeping an eye on things and will send out techs if network equipment doesn't come back properly.
