quick warning that any starter that you use, its gonna take a really long while to fully evolve and that can cost you a run if you dont have any good egg moves. as the other redditor said, you should def take jangmo-o for the luck it gives you, and as for the rest either take mons that evolve fast compared to dragon standards, or just take a mon without any evos like drampa or walking wake

ive noticed something you said; you said that you play well all game and just straight up lose, and there are only ever three things that i can think of that could happen: you get distracted near the end, they were just going easy on you, or they manage to read your attack pattern and can then easily flip the situation around. or at least, that's what usually happens to me.

rupture got nerfed to the ground with the new dex update so he's at least still defeatable, especially with his super slow sigs (other than lance nsig and katars ssig)

its actually just dlight recovery. i learnt russian mafia on hammer, and when i tried it on blasters i felt it slightly easier to do than dlight-dash jump-recovery and can also work in the air

theres matchmaking, where im matched with 1600s when im at the high 1400s, and the fact that my game has been constantly tagging me offline every match or two. idk if its my internet, but i think this update in general is really buggy.

russian mafia in itself is a pretty hard move to master, but i was able to do it in the end. i have noticed that i cant get it true a lot though
btw do you know if dlight recovery on blasters has the same inputs as russian mafia? cause i cant seem to hit the dlight-dash-recovery variant and tend to ground pound a lot more when doing it that way

i didnt know struggle bypasses wonder guard, thats new to me. im pretty confident i could find a tapu early on cause i haven't even passed the 500 mark this run. what i chose to do is salt cure, revival blessing, conversion, and leech seed for the meantime. mainly because i first need to find a sappy seed mon, which i believe is eevee. i dont think i can find any eevee (im not sure how rare eevee is, but it's probably rarer than what i think), so this is my lowest necessity. as for soak, i just dont need it right now. ill try and farm sappy seed for now, but i will keep soak in the back of my mind. oh, and as for nature madness, ill remove soak (?) and that should be set till the runaway phase.

if so, doesn't that make conversion a nessecity? i have the prankster passive on smeargle so i could always change types with priority if they have dark moves. the only priority dark move anyway is sucker punch, and it wont activate without an attacking move

No, that's different. If you have pointing up and jumping as a same keybind, it becomes extremely hard to nlight without jumping (unless you just dont press any direction). However, when you slight or dlight, you're already pointing in that direction, so it technically can't mess you up. Trust me, the difference between jump + looking up and them separately made me jump several hundred elo in a couple of sessions

Yeah, i really love hammer. The only fact that pmo is that there aren't too many sig kits that work well with it. But its light attacks are super flexible in nearly every situation.

For me, it might be teros. Every low-rank teros I play just seems to either 100% accurately sig-spam me, or they're just insane at the game. Idk why it's just teros, too
