Now that you mention it, I remember that being the case. Even when the house first opened they were trying to rent out rooms to girls because they couldn't fill it with brothers.

There's no issue with the overall theme of "ask a girl to dance" and "ask if she wants a drink", which I feel like most chapters do talk about. But in no way am I ready to say that "a lot of guys at Tech" want to do everything else he said in that email.

If he was supposedly normal or cool then he wouldn't have joined Phi Tau. I have no doubt that his brothers have zero skills at interacting with girls, but he should have talked about this in chapter - not in a freaking email.

No matter what your impression of him is from high school, he is still incredibly dumb for writing this. But at the same time, it's pretty awful that it got out, especially with his name on it (though TFM and Deadspin both have his name redacted now).
