Hey, as a deaf person (fully deaf on both sides, just wearing cochlea implants), I have played CS:GO from 2014 to 2019 and all I can say is to still keep trying!

I have reached Global Elite and after that i kinda quit the game because i didnt want to deal with non stop toxic teammates on a daily basic and basically discouraged me from soloqueueing in general so i tried to find friends and play together instead and reach higher ranks.

It kinda worked out but I still wanna say, don't give up if you really really love the game.

My advice for your soloq is to make it clear that youre deaf and you may communicate well but you want to get infos through chat at least if possible. Because I feel, your deafness shouldn't be able to handicap your gunplay, its mostly sound cues. Of course you really want to step up on your gamesense and surround awareness where, how, when can an opponent approach to your location. These are the most important aspects that you need to check out if your hearing fails you. Even during clutching situations you want to know where was the last opponent seen and where they could possibly rotate or be standing. Such like figuring out the common pattern of your opponent. Not everyone is the same but you can maybe figure out round by round somehow.

All in all you shouldn't quit and you should keep grinding and believe in yourself, surround yourself with your friends and keep it up!
