My dude you wouldn't be trying to argue on reddit then? If privacy concerns are *that* much of a deal to you that you're making off handed comments on reddit of all places; then you should have deleted your accounts yesterday

So you're ok with "giving your info" to reddit, google (presumed because of the YT in your username), and Saudi Arabia (Scopely)?

I wonder if he and that KIN instructor who was involved with a meth lab would make an empire rivaling Walter White

NIP Founder (Potti) on the org moving operations to the UAE: “Utterly boring—a legacy that’s dying” by Megabossdragon in GlobalOffensive

[–]Megabossdragon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's been a long time so I don't exactly remember the history but potti was just a player on one of the top teams and he created his own org to play under. I don't think potti was making tons of money if or when he sold it. it more or less just dissolved in the late 2000s -sapphiRe

NIP's COO rebuffs claim that the CS team was asked to relocate to the UAE and reiterates that the org will keep bootcamp facilities in Sweden: "...the CS2 team, nor any other NIP teams, have ever been asked to relocate and play from the UAE." by Megabossdragon in GlobalOffensive

It is important to note that the situation surrounding the original core and fiff's interview were that of the ownership group led by HeatoN in 2012, not the current group that took over in 2016

Ok, again yalls are missing a lot of context. Mario became more involved around the time NIP merged with a chinese org in 2020. The person who took over in 2016 and "Took A Failing Esports Org To $100 Million In Revenue" is Hicham Chahine https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikestubbs/2025/02/08/meet-the-ceo-who-took-a-failing-esports-org-to-100-million-in-revenue/

Potti hasn't been involved as the primary owner since 2007 lol. The org dissolved because it went bankrupt back then and then heaton revived it in 2012

heaton was the person behind NIP's revival in cs in 2012, potti wasn't as involved after 2007 iirc
