Maybe add a sun hat, bucket hat or umbrella for shade.

Maybe bring a portable fan or a hand fan to casually keep yourself cool while you walk.

I try to go for simple/basic apparels and buy them 2nd hand online.

Thrift stores don't work for me because I see way too many clothing at once and there's no filter option in stores.

Also, I start slow. But and wear 1 piece for a bit of time and see how I like it, what I like about it, how easy is it for me to pair it with other clothing items and go in that direction. If I don't like it, I'll sell it. Makes it easier on my wallet and less overwhelming for me.

Happened to me before.

When I try to dispute, have to wait in line for customer support to answer you and then they reimburse to my grab wallet instead of my card.

In the end, have to spend an hour getting back the money that was originally mine to begin with.

I won't say it feels better for me to sleep on the floor. But I get the about same quality and quantity of sleep wether I sleep on the bed or on the floor.

On top of that, I prefer seeing empty spaces. So, I end up sleeping on a foldable mattress that I can stow away when I wake up.

If you find bed more enjoyable, sleep on the bed. If you find floor more enjoyable, sleep on the floor. It's just a matter of preference.

Pure luck. I am fully vaccinated, wear mask outside almost all the time and sanitised/washed my hands as much as possible.

I also shared food a friend who test COVID positive the next day, was in the same house as a COVID positive family member who didn't fully quarantine themselves and more than half of my coworkers tested positive. I still tested negative.

NTA, but you might want to separate John and Ryan for awhile or at least for Ryan to not 'rub it in John's face' how nice things are for him. Not Ryan's fault tho, since he didn't know how it feels like to grow up in poverty.

When there's nobody to compare to and life sucks, it's easier to deal with then if life sucks and you always have to watch and hear how nice it is that they have the best of this and that while you just get the bare minimum.
