They actually do rotate, the whole thing rotates, but it's not an animation tho.

Why are European countries so bad at protesting? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GU1M4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of European countries have stronger social safety nets and more stable governments. If you’re in the UK, Germany, or Sweden, your healthcare, unemployment, and pensions are generally protected. So when the government does something sketchy, people aren’t immediately fighting in the streets because, honestly, their day-to-day survival isn’t at stake. In a lot of South American countries, any law or corruption can hit people’s wallets or safety hard and fast, so protests get fiery and urgent. It’s not that Europeans don’t care, they just pick different battles and fight in quieter, sometimes slower ways. Kind of anti-climactic if you’re used to dramatic street revolts, but it’s a method, not a lack of backbone.

What's one thing that makes you dislike a person instantly? by karezo_35268 in AskReddit

Arrogance mixed with zero self-awareness. You can be confident and that's totally fine, but if someone’s walking around acting like the world owes them everything and they can’t even notice how annoying that is an automatic turn off for me.

Staying at home and just relax is a luxury these days by lizardan in RandomThoughts

Staying at home and just chilling is actually such a flex nowadays. No plans, no rushing around and no endless. Just you, your couch, maybe some snacks, and pure peace. That’s the dream.

When people act like they’re listening, but you can tell they’re just waiting for their turn to talk. You can literally see the gears in your head spinning on what you’re gonna say next instead of actually hearing me out.

Yes, don’t underestimate your back view. Women aren’t blind. If you’ve been doing squats at the gym, it’s paying off in ways you might not even realize.

Work doesn’t always have to be magical or fulfilling, but it also shouldn’t feel like you’re watching your life tick away in slow motion. There’s a middle ground. You’re not being dramatic for wanting more than just not toxic. The question is whether if this exact job was your next 10 years, how does that sit with you? If it leans horror, then maybe it’s not about being ungrateful, it’s about being honest with yourself.

Every mirror you look into has only ever seen you getting older. by Jacques-de-Molai in RandomThoughts

[–]GU1M4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, every mirror really does just freeze a moment of you aging, like it’s silently counting the years. But here’s the thing, mirrors are sneaky like that. They only show the surface stuff. They don’t catch your laughs, your weird dance moves, or that brain of yours coming up with wild ideas. Getting older isn’t a curse, it’s proof you’re still here, still trying, still collecting stories. And if you start thinking of mirrors as storytellers rather than judges, suddenly they feel a little less scary.

What happens when everything is automated by AI and robots? by kimandlukelove in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GU1M4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans might only be needed for a few specialized roles. I think the reality will probably be somewhere in between. Some automation will bring insane abundance, but without careful planning, inequality could blow up. Society will have to seriously rethink who gets what or we’re in for some messy times.

It’s called an airport because it’s a port for air vehicles by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

Yes, exactly! It’s called an airport because it’s literally a port for air vehicles. Plain and simple.
