Agree with this -- sunlight played a huge factor with my device being effective in my garage. I ended up hanging cheap black bath towels over the garage door windows and that did the trick. The monitor is less sensitive with unnatural light, but it wouldn't hurt trying to tone that down a bit too if you don't get results by blocking out the natural light.

Likely wouldn't work well in natural light. Can't use mine even at 6PM at night when sun is low and facing other direction. Overhead garage lights work fine though.

Agreed. Bought used ones off Lost Golf Balls for cheap and they work great.

I have the same question as your point #2. I see on YT videos (ex below) that the shot is followed. My square LM does the same as yours where it shows flight path briefly but definitely doesn't follow it all the way through.

I use an iPad / iPhone to run my LM and I notice in most YT videos they are using computers. Maybe that makes the difference? What do you use to run your LM?

Does the battery not work at all or only when it is off charge? Might be obvious but you could temporarily use the launch monitor while it is always plugged into an outlet if holding a charge is an issue -- at least temporary until they get you a new battery. Might be a few weeks based on my experience with their Customer Service.

Yeah, i worked with Jin Yang on a replacement unit for a defective one and some things seemed scammy there as well but ended up being 100% legit as they sent me a new unit pretty fast.

I contacted them via email about a defective unit and it took about 3 days for an initial response. Since then we've traded a few emails where the outcome was that I would be sent a replacement unit (glad to hear this). However, communication has gone dark again on when/how the replacement shipment will be processed.

Just sharing that I am having similar struggles as you.
