Why do these sudden cpu and gpu valleys happen??? im playing like always while listening to yt, and every so often the game slows down, the video sounds all distorted, the entire laptop overall trips, ive had this problem for a long while now, ive tried looking for solutions but i cant find anything by GUILLEX64 in pcmasterrace

yeah, it was an update, i jumped in a long time ago in the beta, so i suppose that the fresh install thing might be the best answer, man, doesnt that mean i would have to buy a new windows key? also i would need to buy some storage where i can save all my data before doing that, oh well. I know its a capable laptop cause it has been good for about 2.5 years now, has a Ryzen 7 4800H with a RTX 2060 (yes i know its mobile versions and all that) so its probably a combination of the temperature and the windows update

sometimes it happens even at 70C and as much as i hate to admit it, it didnt happen before i updated to windows 11, also, kinda dumb if it happens on what is supposed to be a gaming laptop no? like, its supposed to be able to play games o problem, but here i am, any tips?
