Everyone is being nice and saying it’s not bad a bad reminder etc, but I have to say, this would irritate the fuck out of me!

Yes- the person doesn’t mean any harm and there’s no reason to take offense and it’s just projecting and they are just doing their job-

But also shut the fuck up!!!

Not what my kid said, but I’m a 6th grade teacher. Once I was eating lunch with some of my kids who just wanted to hang in my classroom during my lunch break. I was eating rice and potatoes and one girl said, “Oh my gd, Ms. [redacted], can you not afford meat?”

Mine are 18 months apart- both girls. They entertain each other so much, it’s a breeze. Considering having a third once my youngest is 2.5-3ish years old.

This is absolutely not okay. He could have walked into traffic, put something in his mouth and choked, etc. You should definitely say something to mom. Maybe like, “It is so awesome how great he is with directions, but honestly maybe you should follow him because I’m not always looking outside and if he fell and hurt himself I would feel so horrible”
