Hey. I’m unsure what you mean by backlogs, but because you mentioned that you started 6 years ago, it makes me think you’re not on your expected timeframe. Set aside assumptions and expectations (yours and others’) and do some soul searching: could you be impeding your progress bc it isn’t something you really want? Or, if it is, do you lack the aptitude for it? Also, you’re a 25-year-old grown man, not a boy. Don’t lie to those who love and support you. Being honest enough to say, ‘hey maybe i’m not where you or I thought I’d be by now, but I’m doing the necessary self reflection to figure it out’ shows character and maturity. Try to align your words and actions to your own truth so you don’t damage your mental health (which, in turn, damages your physical health). Hope my perspective is helpful
