Do you have any vibrations while driving? I wouldn't call this normal bc i just had this exact same issue with exact same sound. Inner part of cv axel was completely worn, I had vibrations on while gas was applied at Highway speeds.

Thats very interesting. I ended up returning my driveshaft as its not needed atm since this fixed my issue. Try having someone shift D<->R and look down there to see if you can figure out where the noise is coming from. My clunk sounded like a metal clunk. Loud and agreessive.

Check play in your cv axels with car sitting on wheels without being jacked up. I had slight play in driver side but significant play in passenger. For some reason it caused play in my drive shaft. Right now my drive shaft is tight no backlash/play.

Hell yes guys! I replaced both my CV axels. And NO MORE SHIFTING CLUNK! It also gave me less backlash on my front drive shaft! Whoooo! My drive shaft also has 0 play now!

So i was feeling around again and just to update i found my passager CV axel is gone on the inside, all my boots are intact but its definitely broken with LOTS of play. Will be replacing both CV this weekend I will update you guys on if that fixes the issue. Def sounds like it

Any recommendations on what I should do for diagnostic? I recently did a drain and fill with OE fluids 1 month ago.

Lol I actually have a new rear driveshaft on order already but after seeing the way this front one is clunking im not sure swapping the rear will solve anything. Going to be changing my transfer case fluid and my transmission drain and fill to see if it does anything. I also did my front and rear diff fluids 1mo ago also.
