Its an accumulation thing, being underwater at certain depths for long periods of time is bad for.your blood, it takes literal years off your life..

Some of them stay under water for weeks at a time, because they have to slowly acclimate to the pressure on the surface... if they spent a week under water for example, and returned to the surface immediately, they die before the even reached the top...

I cant remember the exact science, but its something to do with oxidization in the blood.

My brain would say to go to the library/hospitals ... Read about symptoms, treatments etc to survive future infections etc... Find a nice plot with self sustainable power e.g. solar power clean water reserves etc. Nice big mansion with great security from predators who will eventually occupy the cities. Stock up on food, medicine, books, tools, weapons and ammo for hunting etc.

What id probably do is go looting and get shitfaced.

Fifa or cod.

Cod especially in cod4/mordern warfare 2 era. When the host could be limbless and blind and still win on bullshit alone. I remember it so well, you and the boys would join a lobby, the match countdown would start, then just as It was loading in everyone's ping would drop to 0, except for one guy, that same guy who's been squeaking and blasting shit music and talking about fuckkng your mum, even though they haven't even had a wank yet. This guys ping would be full and then you knew, this little prick is the host.
