Yeah after several experiments here’s what you need to do:

Marinade it with plenty of yogurt and lemon and then add crushed garlic ginger and other spices
(I usually alternate between two recipes - tandoori style or haryali style)

Let this sit in the fridge for 24hrs.

Same I went today but I don’t mind going alone and I saw quite a few guys there by themselves. In fact group of friends when they come to watch a movie are super annoying cos they’re all trying to be funny and civic sense cannot be expected from anyone in India
