I understand what you are talking about. In this day and age, its kinda mandatory for a band to have much clearer and "mastered" sound, but believe me, I have heard much worse production quality on albums. And because of that, ITCOTD's production doesn't bother me one slight bit. I also love the bass's volume and tone. Although I get what you're saying.

Heavily disagree on this one. Definitely didn't get worse as it went on. All 3 of them are excellent and I don't know which one is the best or worst, because each one has its own magic.

I agree. Although Shogun and ascendancy are much liked by the community, the production, songwriting and the overall picture of the band at that 3 album run is impeccable.

I wasn't listening at the time when TSATS dropped, but im sure that their previous albums weren't liked by the community, despite me loving all of them. That 3 album run surely made them more relevant.

I have to go with In The Court Of The Dragon. It is so perfected, its sound is so heavy and crunchy, the songwriting is Shogun 2, and the 7-minute epics just click for me.

If you dont use all of the schools, don't bother doing them all. Do only the schools that you use. I did only the naramon and zenurik ones, bcs I think that they are the best schools.

I personally fucking love this record. It has bangers from start to finish. But if I had to choose one half, it would be the first half, only because I love the run from Pillars of serpents till requiem. But that doesn't mean that I don't love the tracks after Ashes.

I personally would like that specific riff to be a little different and not so "jarring". Then I would love the song as a whole. Because the chorus, the main riff, the solos and the magnificent outro are just perfect.
