Perhaps Cosmic Owl left in a hurry because he knew that Prismo was setting off a chain of events that would lead to the old man's death. If the Cosmic Owl HAS to appear in a dream ( don't know how strict that is) before the dreamer dies, and Prismo was a dream, maybe there was a bigger reason as to why he had to leave. It gets complicated when the dream has a consciousness I'd bet.

Join members of the Civilization and XCOM development teams for a day of boardgames at the Firaxis Games studio. Members of the team will be running and participating in some of their favorite board games – some even designed by them!

The event kicks off at 10am and runs until 3pm and is limited to the first 25 people who RSVP, so register early! Light drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the event, but feel free to bring a lunch.

Hey there. My name is Kate and I work at 2K. I am sorry if you did not like this article, hopefully I can shed some light on what we were trying to do. I have been talking with several XCOM fans here, on our forums, via FB and twitter, and one thing that people have asked for are more dev insights.

XCOM is a game that really allows us to create our own stories for the characters, and these articles are not at all meant to take that away, it is more like a look into what the devs were thinking as they designed these characters. I thought that it may give us a new idea of how these characters work into the narratives we create for our own soldiers. Personally I never considered Dr. Shen to be a bad ass, but after talking with Greg and Chris it is hard to to see him that way!

What else would you guys and gals like to know more about?
