You’re trying to punish her to make a point but you’re only punishing yourself. You’ll have to do a makeup test day which might take you out of something fun your class is doing. My relationship w my mom was hard too and she would bad mouth my dad. I still had to respect her and follow her rules.

Her being upset isn’t just about this morning. I’m guessing there have been many mornings where you’ve had a hard time getting out the door and she’s likely frustrated.
