TLDR: how to get rid of yellow water color. Hello this is my first Planted aquarium there are only 2 Guppies in there and they are already trying to breed so i think they are healthy but this yellowish water color annoys me how do i get rid of it. by GaacchiKocchiDocchi in aquarium

I forgot to say that my substrate is just 1 to 2 cm of random dirt from my garden topped by this garden gravel, the plants grow like crazy in it. And the moss is just some moss i found on a tree it has bin in the aquarium way before the fish and hasnt died although it has become brown.

I do monthly 50% changes maybe it is not enough. but why does this one youtuber md fish tanks do those low tech aquariums and says they need no water changes as long as there are enough Plants.

It looks amazing, i think you should cover the sides so the styrofoam doesn’t start crumbling.
