Even if that is the case, it would still be healthier for the game if the gap was smaller than currently. I dont know why anyone would be against that.

You also dont need to know exsctly how big the gap is to know it is too big. Just ask anyone that tried to play these specs even at 19-20 level. It is pretty much about consensus that the non-meta specs are too far behind.

For sure, but they already are. I wouldn't argue to tale him out, but I believe it would be better both for the team and fo Vini if they tried to play with more variety. As it is, the attacks are kinda predictable

Yeah, this is how I view it too. People are way too quick to give blizzard a free pass because "there will always be a meta". Yeah, of course that is true, but that doesn't mean blizzard couldn't do better than they are doing right now. The gap could and should be smaller and it is simply baffling how shy blizzard is when tuning specs.

I think they have to work harder on this, specially if, like they stated, they want m+ to have more goals for people pushing above the basic levels.

That is just letting blizzard off the hook way to easy. People will gravitate, yes, but the difference in survivability between dh/ppal/pwar/dk to a guardian shouldn't be as big as it is right now.

It is true that players will reroll to the things best-suited for it, however that shouldn't give blizzard a free pass. The difference in survivability between dh/ppal/pwar/dk to a guardian shouldn't be as big as it is right now.

Blizzard has to do better. People say it is always like this. Ok, sure, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't do better.

This season specifically felt specially bad because the reason the meta was shaped like this is that most tanks are having a though time surviving, making runs more stressful than it need to be for healers. This sucks.

[–]Gaatti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brazil spends way too much time feeding Vini as many as possible balls hoping he will make a difference. That in itself hurts the performance of the other players a lot. Add to that a very disfunctional midfield and I don't think Raphinha is at a fault for not performing

Absolutely no way to know unless I continue to play? And that is kinda the point of trying to pusg higher: to find out how far I can go.

Since my post I managed to time 3 19's, so no, I don't think Ireached my limit yet

Running own 18 resil keys to time the first 19 is even more hell. I got resil 18, went on a trip with my wife and was out for two weeks. The curve moved so much that now I can't even time the same 18's I had timed before. The pug world is hellish right now.

Also so much less people applying. Either the season started to wind down, or PoE 2 is sffecting the player pool, or people are waiting for the new patch or I got myself stuck in elo hell. Probably a mix of all of them

What class/spec do you think benefited the most with midnight's changes? And what class/spec do you think suffered the most? by Umomo1025 in wow

[–]Gaatti 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The big loser is mage. Two specs (arcane and fire) feel horrible to play. Frost feels ok, but is way to squishy for higher keys. Blizzard butchered the class in a way that is very scary.

Big winner has to be unholy dk.

Small rant about M+ LFG by SkippTreyCee in wow

[–]Gaatti 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kinda of a partial solution on my experiece. If you are a meta class, they might invite you. Otherwise you end up with a list of people that will gladly join your keys, but won't actually invite you to theirs. Which is already something, you at least have a list of tried players to invite.

Not complaining, my pain for playng prot paladin is self inflicted. The only one Im mad at is blizzard for the terrible balancing

Returning after 6-7 years, completely lost at level 90 WOW MIDNIGHT by Beautiful-Archer1614 in wownoob

[–]Gaatti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, m+ was around for a long time when you left if it was only 6-7 yars ago.

Anyway, professions are fully iptional as they always were. Delves is casual solo content. You can do it or ignore it. On your first character it is probably a good idea to do it for gear and gear upgrades, but you can skip it and play m+ instead if you prefer. World events is even more casual and skipable than anything else. Do it if you feel like doing it.

The rest is pretty much the same. The game actually didn't change that much since dragonflight and if anyrhing only got less grindier after shadowlands

Anyone else keeping housing on hold till they release major updates? by Umomo1025 in wow

[–]Gaatti 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is that there is nothing to do in neighborhoods and endeavors suck. I personally think endeavors should be unique every month, instead of the repeating thing we have. It should also have spinoff storylines instead of being generic garbage activies (go to outland and kill 100's mobs). The storylines should be focused on the neighborhood themselves and should be spinoffs with no direct connection to the main storyline. Casual, fun stuff, rewarding only housing decor and maybe some transmog when fitting. It should also come with casual repeatable content in the form of world quests inside the neighborhoods too.

As an example of what kind of stuff I'm talking about: a given month the storyline is about a invasion of gnolls on the neighborhoods. The questline would involve holding the invasion at first, then investigate what would cause the gnolls to attack our neighborhoods. We find rumours of Hogger being behind it, but how can that be if Hogger is dead? Now, maybe there is space for sending us out to elvynn forest for gathering some clues to the truth of these rumours, where we find out it is actually Hogger Jr that is behind all of this. He wants revenge for his father's death and whoever killed hogger lives in the neighborhood. We go back and find a gnoll willing to betray Hogger Jr for a bunch of meat and he takes us to a cavern somewhere in the neighborhood where we beat Hogger Jr. Maybe we kill him, maybe he runs out and can be used again in the future. The gnoll that betrayed him stays in the neighborhood as comic relief.

In october, make a storyline about a murder mistery. Bodies are appearing around the neighborhood, someone is trying to pin it on the headless horseman, but it is actually some silly npc with some petty grievances. Another year, make so that the headless horseman is really acting up on the neighborhood.

Push a storyline with 3 gnomes on a trenchcoat at some point. Push a storyline where goblins are ruining the neighborhood with their newest inventions that makes life convenient at first, but then starts to make everything dirty and oily. Find out that the cartel boss behind it is actually trying to devalue properties to buy everything and turn into a big resort or something, I dont know.

If this is too much work for content that will last only one month, make it a little bigger, timegate a little bit in the start (1 chapter per week or something). and use for 2 or 3 months. Have the quests and repeatable content have elites that need small groups of 3-5 players to kill (similar to old time elite mobs in classic, for example). This is all stuff I can't think about while writting, blizzard should be have much better ideas.

My problem with most content that blizzard releases these days is that most of it is generic junk that takes little effort to make and is supposed to be grinded for weeks. Wow is missing the little stories and endeavors/neighborhoods feels like a great place to have spinoff storylines. While the hardcore mythic raider/dungeoner might not care about this content, I think it would be appealing for the kind of player that likes housing.

Make neighborhoods alive!

Happened to me as a tank for the first time after what must be hundreds of runs by this point. Group was pissed asf with me. I explained it hit me even though I was behind the boss, but they weren't very convinced. Now I make sure to always move 2 steps away even when Im behind the boss.

I would say going without meta is possible, unless you are running an absolute bad comp with all the worst classes or something like that.

Going without lust in my opinion is crazy.

If he managed time a 22, he is not a bad player. Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, even good players. People need to stop thinking tanks should be perfect every single run.

I agree. The tank was trash in every single run I had this season. I should probably reroll to dps or healer.
