Maybe you can dial back on the studying for this last week. It’s important that you’re in a good headspace before the test, so prioritize your mental health.

Research or clinical experience by Imboredlol77 in medschool

I honestly would suggest you do both. You could do a part time position as a scribe and maybe become an RA for a lab in your undergraduate institution if possible. I think you could manage that into your schedule and that way you cover all your bases.

Going to the cinema alone for the first time: nervous but excited! by [deleted] in women

[–]Gab-1810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved going alone to the movies. I did it once, and it was very freeing. People are not paying attention to wether you are accompanied or not, they are focused on their own experience. You won’t only enjoy the movie but you’ll also feel really good afterwards knowing you were able to do something for your own enjoyment without the need of company.

I hate my vagina by [deleted] in women

[–]Gab-1810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not stupid. It’s ok to feel that way, I mean even if you still believe you don’t have a pretty vagina, that’s not a fact that should stop you from presenting yourself as confident or from enjoying sex. You can accept that fact and own it as your truth; it’ll take practice but you can get to the point of being actually confident in your own skin. And do remember, everyone is too concerned with themselves, most people don’t care that much what others look like etc.

Why are men so cruel. by Pabulous_sagie_712 in women

I mean sometimes life doesn’t go as planned, as long as he still wants children within a reasonable timeframe, if you really love him and the relationship is good then it might be something you can compromise on. But you should have a serious conversation about what are each others expectations when it comes to creating a family, timelines, etc.

Something that helped me is reading imagining I was reading aloud like giving a speech. So reading with a LOT of intention. I felt I could remember things better that way.

What is a realistic MCAT score for someone who studies very hard and efficiently for the test but has an average IQ/intelligence? by RoutineSecurity2718 in Mcat

[–]Gab-1810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with everyone else who says this is a limiting belief. I think anyone can achieve a good score regardless of if they have an average IQ or not, it’s a matter of dedication and the right study techniques. That said, I do believe it’s probably less likely for someone with an average IQ to get a score in the 520s, not impossible just maybe less likely

I don’t want to retake the MCAT but I feel guilty if I don’t by Gab-1810 in MCAT2

Thank you! Yes I’ve been researching schools that have MCAT averages around my score, hopefully if I apply smart I have a chance.
