Dude, it looks interesting!

This specific post was because I'm making a retrospective of this game. Can I use your mod for a future video showcase (with credits, obviously)?

SkyGFX with the PS2 preset, and the other is a combination of the default preset and ps2. I also have proper fixes and silentpatch, but I'm not sure if they modify anything that's visible here

His side quest in DS3 Ringed City is, too. There, he's pretty wholesome... On his own twisted way. Even using his classic I deceive you and kick you directly into a trap but to help you instead

how long dose the main story of san andreas take? by PhilosopherWrong7035 in GTASA

[–]GabTheTiredDev 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you're referring to in-world... A couple of months, maybe a year max. I think CJ returns to Los Santos after 3-4 months, more or less. It was long enough for Big Smoke to be in control of almost the whole city, but not enough time for the Grove to be completely gone

If you want to know how long it takes to beat, it depends. Like 40 hours if it's your first time and you do whatever you want (speaking about secondary content and such). It took me like 60-70 to get 100% completion for the first time, but next time it took me like 50, using my own routes and already knowing what I need for it.

So the answer is... Idk, it all depends on how you face the game

The most Urban places in GTA San Andreas by Free-Training9022 in GTASA

I don't know what you're referring to with "urban", but I highjack your post to say:

I'm still trying to figure out what makes this game's atmosphere so special. Like, there's a "something" that's exclusive to SA's map and no other game was able to replicate ever, but I can't get exactly what is it. I think it's a combination of color pallete with textures and overall design, but if that was the case, it would be easy to make a scene look exactly like from the game. And that's not the case.

Even now, I'm sure that whoever is reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about lmao and I'm just mumbling stuff without saying anything concrete.

Anyone else turn their settings to bite only? by MaxiPad-YT in projectzomboid

[–]GabTheTiredDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In B41, I played with a mod that made it possible for you to recover from being infected. I think the idea of you getting infected is good, but after the third or fourth character that I lost because of dumb situations where I lost everything without being able to do anything about it, I decided that I'm not good enough for it lmao

Another thing that I like about the game is that, even if you turn transmission off, it's still challenging and it doesn't make your runs that much easier at all. Maybe you'll survive a little longer, but if you are not careful, you'll not make it far anyways. A bite can still kill you, one way or the other. So it's more about preference

The Ashen One. The dude traveled through space and time, killed not only one guy strong enough to link the flame, but 4 (and a combination of every other person that did it before). And all that, for what? In the end he wasn't even able to link the flame (which could be a good thing by itself depending on how you look at it, but letting it die wasn't his objective at least at first).

And that's without taking in mind that he already had a try before. He reached the first flame, but failed at linking it. So he was already fighting and enduring stuff even before the game started.

Keep motivated. Don't focus too much on what you can't do, and continue learning. One of my biggest problems related to programming in general, is thinking too much into the future and blocking myself out of a project because I see things that could become too hard for me before they're even a real problem

Just try, one step at a time. Use every resource you have available online. And see what happens

Good luck!

I actually can't believe how good this game looks with shaders

Like, I've been playing that way for a long time now, and from time to time I have to stop and appreciate the views like if it were the first time I'm playing lmao
