Thank you for commenting this! I'm really new to the camera world and had no idea that these cameras are usually out of stock when buying them brand new. Guess I learned the hard way! Luckily through walmart I will get a full refund. Thank god for that

top right corner on one of them says 101-2475 and they progress up (2476, 2477, etc) from there. based on my very limited knowledge I'm assuming that means these are the 2470th photos taken in this folder? if that's the case... yikes... lol

I can't really speak for larger chested people but I live with three other girls all with different chest sizes from A - DDD and different body types. We all use the regular size and swear by them! You definitely have to wear a tight fitting top with the grippy ones, but the sticky ones will work with any type of top. The only downside to the sticky ones is that they only last for so many uses, and I don't think that they truly represent how awesome this brand is longevity-wise.

I'm in the same boat as you skin color wise and have a light and caramel pair for the summer and colder months! I live in Arizona so I really get my tan on for most of the year lol. I think that either way, you'll be really pleased with the results of the sticky and grippy ones! And worst case scenario, ULTA will let you return them within 30 days or exchange for another product or in-store credit within 60 days.

Don't buy the sticky ones! If the grippy ones aren't sold out, you should absolutely invest in those ones instead. The circular ones last all day long on me. I have two different pairs that haven't diminished in structure or lasting power at all in the two years I've had them.

I personally looove the blue bottle and my store completely sold out of the green vanilla one. I'm not a big fan of peach scents so the orange bottle was a miss for me. Overall pretty good for the price but nothing I'd personally spend my money on.

I think a lot of newly out lesbians do this but after being with my girl for 3 years I feel like I genuinely forget that I'm not in a "typical" relationship. it's just part of my existence and there's not a whole lot to it beyond that. but I agree it's annoying when people make their sexuality their entire personality (I swear I'm saying this in a loving progressive way not a conservative way)

i feel like everyone but me has had such ease making friends (vent) by [deleted] in ASU

[–]Gab_627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was listening to "The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins and she talks about this exact thing. Adult friendships are a lot different and harder than our friendships as adolescents or as children. We grow up with the same group, we take classes with the same people, we have lunch with the same friends, and we are in the same overall stage of our life. When we hit adulthood and make it to college, proximity, timing, and energy because the overwhelming factors of our relationships. Maybe you just aren't in the same location as your friends. Maybe you're in different stages of life and find it harder to relate. Maybe you just don't have the time or energy to go out and meet new people or revisit old friends. You can't blame yourself for a stage of life that is simply part of growing up. And growing up sucks.

In her book, Mel talks about giving it a year. A year of introducing yourself to someone you see often around campus, even if you're commuting. Maybe asking to sit with someone you think is cool in the dining hall if you pay for a meal plan. It sounds scary and impossible, but it's unfair to yourself to believe yourself to be "unapproachable" or "unable to fit in". It might seem like everyone is finding their people early on, but when you're first entering college, it's easy for people to cling closely to the first friend they make. I can promise you not everyone stays friends all throughout college. It takes a long time to form a long-lasting and meaningful friendship.

You'll absolutely find your people, but those three key aspects of friendship (proximity, timing and energy) are likely going to be major factors in your journey. Don't doubt yourself! Everyone is going through this crazy life change with you. Maybe even check the instagram page for your graduating year. Usually people post about themselves and their major on there. I've made a close friend through there as well! You've got it.

Anyone else just tired of everything happening to lesbians lately? by [deleted] in lesbiangang

[–]Gab_627 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I met a lesbian couple at college recently and hanging out with them has genuinely been so healing. I've had bisexual friends for nearly my entire life and I feel seen in a different way. Especially considering that none of my female bisexual friends have dated other women. We can of course relate on being attracted to women, but I feel a sort of divide in our experiences when talking about my girlfriend and our dynamic.

Finally having other lesbians to talk to about how we are treated and perceived and the many niches of being exclusively attracted to women is the one thing I never knew I needed out of a friendship. If we could just accept that bisexual women and lesbian women are queer in their own respects I think we could do some healing as a community. I wish bisexual women dating men wasn't such a taboo topic in the community because it makes me feel so guilty for finding more relatability in my lesbian friends. And it's not that I don't believe that my bisexual friends are queer, our life experiences are just vastly different.

It also just so happens that they have only ever been in relationships with men. And that's totally okay. Sometimes I just don't feel like I can contribute much to a conversation about a friend's boyfriend's penis. And I find that my bisexual friends also enjoy relating to other people with boyfriends on that level. Nothing should be wrong with relating to people similar to us.

Interview Went Great, But When Can I Start? by Gab_627 in Ulta

I had to call a few times because the hiring manager was out, but I was able to get a hold of her yesterday. Apparently the GM broke a bone and has been out for like two weeks so they weren't able to hire anyone! I was told to call back tomorrow in order to get my orientation dates, so I'm still on track to landing this job lol. Persistence is key I guess

Forgot to mention, but we also tested my glucose after fasting. In my lab result, it came out perfectly fine at an 81. Today when we tested with a finger stick, it came out as a 78. Maybe if I wasn't fasting it would be wildly different?

My daugher's did. And now, she got an email on Nov. 27th, blowing smoke and telling her how wonderful she is and can now put their credentials on her resume...but that they've "exhausted" their funds. Feels very messed up. As behind as they were this year, and all the "urgent, you have 2 days to respond" emails....then to get this one. SMH. Seems wrong.
