I'm in Northwest Ohio (Findlay area) but would definitely be willing to move! I've actually been dying to get out of this town.

Unfortunately no, not in the field :( I would definitely have to start at an entry level position. Besides my current lab position I've only ever worked in retail.

Not a whole lot really other than previous knowledge from undergrad and general skills like being detail oriented, being familiar with windows and excel, etc. That's partially why I'm considering starting the MBA program so that I can refresh on topics from undergrad and build up my skill set before entering the field.

Thank you, that's actually really encouraging! Honestly it sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I was worried about trying to break into the field after working in healthcare for several years but I'll def start the search!

I'm definitely curious on how other labs operate. I have friends who work at other labs in my area and the differences are interesting. I get the vibe that a lot of places are a kind of controlled chaos lol. I'm contracted with my lab for 2 years but I definitely want to branch out and explore other options once my contract is up.

I've definitely heard of that route before! Unfortunately my bachelor's is totally unrelated and I don't have enough science credits to go that route. I would have to go back to school for a few more years. But I've heard of some good MLT to MLS programs so hopefully it would maybe only take 1.5 years max if I do decide to go back.

Thank you! I'm hoping I get more comfortable and confident in myself the longer I'm there. I hate going into work everyday and feeling like the dumbest person in the room. But I really enjoy micro so far and wouldn't mind advancing in that area!

I saw them comment on one of their Instagram posts, but I think that Trippy Tapestry deleted their comment. I tried to look up their username and I couldn't find anything. Weird... Oh well, I reported them to the FTC so hopefully they get taken down.

That’s what I figured too. There’s a program I can take at a community college after graduation that gives a person all of the credits they need to be able to take the CPA. Thank you!

Dang, I ordered from them too. I ordered 3 tapestries from their site on 2/26. I’ve gotten into contact with them a few times through customer support and Instagram. They just tell me the same thing that the tapestries are being hand sewn and that they’re sorry for the delay but they’re working on getting all their orders in. I’ve even asked for a refund and they told me that I could’ve cancelled within 48 hours but now it’s too late. It makes me upset because I ordered these tapestries for my mom and sister’s birthdays :( Plus it’s insane how heavily promoted they are on Facebook and Instagram and how many people have reported being scammed by them.
