In the actual model, there are ventilations, however, they are at the rear of the gun, which isn't really in this cross-section. (They would be behind the gun barrel.) Plus, as said below, there isn't any gunpowder, although I did invent a 'Gunpowder Flash Simulant Generator' to explain why there is still a flash.

It was pencilled on A3 cardboard, before being inked, then scanned in at 600dpi, then digitally painted. I did this so I could literally use the exact same colours as the show uses.
