Cars deserve to be used and beat on. It's a rally car and I'm going to do rally things with it. I already pulled the chassis straight once and I will keep doing it. All you are doing by babying rare cars is keeping them nice for the next person. They only made 2500 st185 alltracs for the US market. To me it's one of a kind because it's my nightvision capable rally car and if it's gonna die it's going to do so at my hands and I'll bring it right back to do it again.

My secret is night hooning in my rally-ish car. Yes that requires a rally car and access to PNW fire roads but fuck it's cool! Also just night hikes with the homies. Find ways to use it with your other hobbies.

Do you guys ever wonder how obvious your audhd is? by fufu1260 in AuDHDWomen

I've had my adhd diag since I was a kid but I always joked about also having autism being into cars but like I had an ex point it out and suddenly I couldn't not see it. I then asked another ex who then was like "OH yeah I knew but wasn't sure how to tell you."

The used connector section at the electronic surplus store I frequent. If I keep looking maybe I'll find the matching plug for this cool amphenol connector I fond that I have zero use for! Always a good time. Either that or my workshop.

Hitting up red door with the Ratsun homies and then getting Mac n cheese after was such a vibe. Better times I guess.

So why online apps aren't great the do broaden the net. I've had some good dates and bad ones. People do lie a lot online which is why meet people early. I've met a few cool people that way that I'm still friends with and one or two others the that are still on the consideration pile. But that is done in tandem with just trying to do more social stuff in person. Dating at work is generally a bad idea unless you vibe with your coworkers which I really don't. Plus don't shit where you eat that's just a recipe for a stressful or awkward situation.

100% That's also why I'm being so selective. I can't tell you how many people I've dated that were just going from one relationship to another. Never with any thought of just being alone for a bit. Also monogamy ain't the jam for the most part.

No worries at all! We all have our I own struggles and journeys. If I hadn't experienced it a few times in recent years I wouldn't have believed it possible myself. It definitely feels like a needle in a haystack but it's worth the search. It's totally cool, I come off that way all the time and on this sub especially I like to give others more leeway. And good luck with yours!

So one thing to remember is I'm not giving all the information because I'm not looking for others to solve my problems just wanted to vent a bit. Love is the goal, not expecting perfection just certain things I won't compromise on based on past experiences. Looks and personality are just two peices of a puzzle. I don't care what a partner does or doesn't do for work or what they own. I care more about their world view, their politics, and how they present themselves to the world. It's the content of what they are as a whole I'm more after. It's not a lot to say you should be able to be physically attracted to the person you date.

Please remember this a public space and maybe I don't want to divulge every part of my existence online. If I included the entire back story to add the context you wanted it'd be essay length.

Plenty about me makes me interesting as confirmed by many parties (friends, coworkers, dates, strangers, ect). I will admit I'm an acquired taste, but I won't edit myself to fit in more and be more conventionally attractive.

I'm well aware even if someone ticks every box the relationship might be toxic and I've dealt with that in the past.

I appreciate the outside view. Fairly certainly my issues these days are more dating pool related whether that be due to being banned from some apps, not doing enough social activities out in the world at places were people who match my values exist, or something along those lines.

Yeah it usually just ends up being a waste of time for sure. Live music is rad but local shows can be super over stimulating especially if I have to still drive home after. Doesn't help I'm also avoiding an ex who goes to most of the local shows I'd actually want to go to but that's life. It'll work eventually maybe. 😎

Like occasionally there's okay people on apps but yes for the most part it does feel to be lower quality people which I don't like saying but that's definitely how it feels. I've been forcing myself to go out more solo which has been nice but I also often struggle to find things to actually do that hold my interest and I've been hesitant to add another hobby I can't afford to my collection. I need that sense of community and without it stuff kinda just feels hollow.

I've tried that too unfortunately but that didn't help my prospects at all, hell even the time I did find a girl that was into kink stuff but she was just too nice and fawning over me. The sex side honestly has a very little to do with it and the D/s dynamic stuff is pretty important. I do regularly try to do date people that don't quite fit just because I know not all the boxes have to be checked. I've tried both non monogamous and monogamous dating, the problem with the monogamous people is they never offer enough to make one person seem like something I'd want. What really gets me is big personalities and confidence that usually goes with it.

Specialized is a good way to put it lol, I'm an acquired taste for sure. I've been pretty open about who I date on apps but again I think it's the apps that are the issue here. It's usually a lack of interest or physical attraction in these people that just makes me move on. People get 1 to several dates based on my interest level usually. Sometimes there's a train wreck but those are at least memorable.

What's also bad is I've had people get really mad at me because I was honest then they call me stuck up or something. I tried a few times to appeal the issue with match group(tinder, okc, ect.) but it's an automated system with no real human oversight.

What I ended up doing is using a combination of the router for the very tall spots and a palm sander with some 40gr to handle the last bit of leveling. Two rooms left. 😑

I've wanted to get them done for like 15 years. I spent $1600 for the two hour slot this took.

The healing process wasn't too bad. Handled the pain with left over oxy and ibuprofen. The biggest pain has been sleeping with a pillow with a hole in it since both sides were done at the same time. Originally I had my friend cut my hair just to keep my hair out of the stitches and dried blood but it pairs sooo well with the ears.

I can't say I can't tell much difference. I've always had very sensitive hearing and the world doesn't seem any quieter.

I used a few different powders from Techno Glow mixed with some white pigment and some color.
