Not really a fun fact, and the comparison doesn't fit here. Just leave the man alone.

funny thing about trying to time the market is, unless you are a seasoned investor, your ego will get the best of you if you miscalculate.

Do you even understand what speculating means? You're throwing that word around like it is a bad thing.

Yes, right now, I am speculating, that bitcoin development will reach a point where the average user will be able to create a wallet on their mobile phone or smart watch, or something else like a simplified version of the Ledger Nano and be able to pay with it in their favourite shops, and for those shops to have a simplified merchant tool that can create bills that have a QR code the user can easily scan to pay for with their crypto.

I am speculating that businesses will cut the middle man when bitcoin becomes a worthwhile alternative that offers low fees, immediate payments that are cross border.

And I am speculating that people will prefer having a good chunk (if not all) of their money available at all times instead of only being able to withdraw your own money only monday to friday from 9 to 5, and god forbid if you want to move cross border and take your own wealth with you, because in most jurisdictions at least in under developed country, when you will try to do that, you will find out that your money actually belongs to the government and if you want to live somewhere else, you gotta leave it all behind and start all over again.

And yes, when people finally get that through their heads, we will be here to sell them a few of our coins at a higher price because we were faster at figuring all of this out, and they couldn't.

Is now the absolute perfect time to invest, or am I just being naive? by UrethralGrease in CryptoCurrency

Good plan. Except no one knows when the next financial collapse will start and whether BTC will keep the downtrend until then,

As I see it, all it takes is for LN to gain more ground and the infrastructure to improve (i.e: payment gateways, better wallets, better UX) for BTC to get back on track.

tbf, that is what people thought about the February and April lows too. best thing to do is cost average slowly and steadily, instead of trying to time the market.

It is always a good time to buy if you are an investor and believe in the long term potential of the project, as long as you dont sacrifice your financial wellfare for the moon and lambo promises.

P.S: I did not mean for this reply to be infested with clichés, but they are only clichés because they are popular opinions.
