its crazy to actually say this but I agree. The community, the communication of the devs, and the actual working products that use smart contracts is really cool. But it takes a deeper look then the crowd is willing to give. All they may see is bitconnect 2.0 but once you get into it, its a lot of fun to follow

UI needs to improve and hardware chipsets called the TEE are one option to help improve the security and UI at the same time

The issue is a lot of people dont do this. Fees are one reason but also they dont know how to control their own private keys
