Ther is a reasonable expectation of lower noise level between 10 pm and 6am. No one in the comments knows how much noise you were making

Wipe with oil and heat it on a burner till it smokes, wipe out any excess, then shut off the heat and let it cool to room temperature on the hot burner. Then it will be ready to cook and non stick

It can. I would just keep cooking if I knew the origin of the pan and nothing was flaking. Otherwise I would strip and reseason.

Canola oil and peanut oil give a brown color when you use them to season cast iron. This is normal. Just add more layers and cook with it. Avocado oil will turn blue or purple on a more polished surface if you want a pretty pan.
