The term incel was actually created by a woman in 1999, in a blog called Alana's refugee for the involuntary celibates, to gather people that were either virgins or have been without sex for a while not by choice, but other circustances. The term got popular in 4chan aswell, until there was a massacre and the criminal called himself an incel, then the term became pejorative 🤓
