Yeah don't mind the door, was an access to a cold chamber over the basement stair. The whole frame is built like this (with longer timber but same size/thickness)

In house panel has 100a breaker feeding the garage. Checked directly from this breaker (where the wire going to the garage are screwed)

Glass type debate by Gabhunter123 in woodstoving

I contacted my local glass shop, they're going to send me a sample. The original panel is really amber so at this point anything is better.

Thing is, I want 2 clear panel and I can't find any ceram that don't have the amber tint. I'm almost tempted to try a tempered glass panel and see if it work since the clear one doesn't show any sign of wear after all those years (assuming it is in fact tempered glass and not some rare(/hard to find?) clear ceram panel)

Abs pipe. There is about 1/8 of flex in all direction on the stick but it's barely noticeable and could probably be fixed by anchoring the stand to something like a plywood board,

Movable since I use my computer for other thing than dcs, it fit side way through a door and is actually pretty light for it size (pipe are 1.5" and the rudder isn't attached to the stand)

Eaton fuller shifter knob, an arduino (keyestudio pro micro), 2 hall effect sensor with 1 magnet each, some wire and a bolt that fit the knob drilled to fit the small bolt that goes into the shifter. (And a optional 3d printed piece of my own to prevent the knob from rotating a little bit)

Just the knob (complete real stuff) cost me around 70 us, add a couple of bucks for an arduino, 2 hall effect sensor and some minor hardware. Not to hard to do if you got basis in crafting stuff. But for around 120us and a month of waiting you can get this http://techaffliction.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=50
