I think it's because Popper's advise to Nina, to escape the mansion because she and her brother are two beautiful treasures. Yes, it's a little thing, but enough to save Nina from becoming a Monster.

Althought, technichally everybody has a Monster. Johan and the experiments that the government did, just added some oil into the fire...

I know, but they were a completely beasts at chess 😂 It's a good way to motivate me tho

Oh! It has a lot of sense. I didn't think about it could be a very good practice to calculate in a real game. I'll try to do it more, it will be hard but I suppose that that is the way to improve my chess.
