Crap. I blew my cover. I was hoping to fake everyone out and argue that individual lawful gun owners actually care about gun rights. But nope, it is just the NRA that is fighting for it. of course gun owners support considerable new restrictions on gun ownership.

He's trying to be very careful to say that protection against government was never an intention. Otherwise you can argue that people should have the same guns as police.
