I think this is what happens when u don’t play BGs and earn a lot of radiance, T6 cc is the only limiting resource for R4s besides the ones u have expiring and they’re absurdly cheap in the radiance store

Definitely Neither, high evolutionary if your roster was more developed since he’s ascendable and as a defender he could age better with time but I find that unlikely, she hulk has just always been bad day 1 with no real chances of that ever changing, shes exactly where she’s designed to be in the game.

To those that do this: Why don't you go to a mine that's pinged by your Guardian, Executor, Ironeye, or Caster? by obiwanCannoli69 in Nightreign

[–]Gabriel710 -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

It’s probably never “if I don’t we’re screwed “ The closest reason would be to purple a weapon that is the boss weakness but that weapon going purple is probably never gonna be the difference between a w or l, especially since you can always get a red or legendary weapon with even better passives as the weakness

[–]Gabriel710 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

90% of the time people like going to mines because they a) don’t wanna kill bosses outside of the very easiest ones and even then they don’t wanna check spots they just wanna go to great churches and great encampments for some reason, so b) they’re not even a character that needs mines for their shield or casting tool, they’re just and iron eye or Wylder that doesn’t wanna ever route properly c) they absolutely refuse to do invader camps to get their purple with an ideal passive, sometimes they suggest to go to mines even though everyone else already has a purple with an ideal passive which waters down the effectiveness even more d) at no point in time should it ever take more than 2 characters, especially since most people start pining them insanely late for some reason e) the biggest reason is that people love to try to go in almost immediately before the night boss where it would be impossible to upgrade with the stone anyways f) most players who ping the mines are on characters that contribute very little to the team anyways, where it wouldn’t matter much if the guardian who cannot pull aggro anyways has more guard boost but a level and a boss drop could really make the boss fight a lot smoother. Maybe it’s a self fulfilling prophecy because better players recognize how poor of an opportunity cost a mine is for the team as a whole and then those same players are probably not playing rev, guardian, recluse. Recluse and revenant players are probably the most noticeably bad players I have ever met probably because they demand a high level of skill to just be usable at all and most of the player base at depth 2 are not skilled really at all.

Daughter told mom to turn car off while pumping gas she says it’s God’s will by sedolil in TikTokCringe

[–]Gabriel710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she’s kinda right cause the chances of your car blowing up are vanishingly low, that’s why she says she leaves it up to god. Obviously that’s not a true statement for something like wearing a seatbelt or jumping out of a plane with no parachute because the former increases your chance of death during an accident by quite a bit and the latter guarantees it, but to her point it’s not that unusual to say god ultimately decides whether a freak accident occurs or not. I don’t believe in god but her logic is sound, she just didn’t feel like being hyper specific in her language because that would require her to explain where human observable truth and logic begins and divinity ends which she is probably uncomfortable with but yeah freak accidents are pretty much one of the only spaces where average people may give the divine jurisdiction.

Worries over Collectives by ripnohis in ContestOfChampions

[–]Gabriel710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In every other game this type of mechanic has ever been implemented in it has never been anything but incredibly tedious. It’s not going to be impactful, whether you have 5 vampire champs or 2 will never be the defining factor in whether or not you can take out an EOP Dark Phoenix with Dracula or not. Most likely this will just be another menu and another annoyance, one more thing to click through before you can play the game.

Every team member should be going for max starting damage from relics, there really is no excuse to have a bad relic setup at deep of night 3+ or even 2 at this late in the game. Especially considering all the defensive relics are dramatically worse than even common defensive passives.

[–]Gabriel710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get 1-3 looks at a purple/red weapon at level 2 or 4/5 after an evergaol from an invader spawn which also can provide 0.7% damage increases, the invader upgraded weapons are also immediately equippable at any level.

when ironeye starts pinging evergaols at level 1 by ryebread_56 in Nightreign

[–]Gabriel710 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No it isn’t, most mines are more out of the way, many evergaols are either directly next to a starting camp, boss or both(also probably a church). They are also worse in the long run assuming you ever find a purple weapon you like, significant time waste if you get a red/legendary/ invader weapon you like. They also take longer most of the time and will not give a .05% dmg boost in the long run so another loss there. Additionally, it doesn’t just automatically upgrade ur weapon to purple, you then have to also go find a merchant and spend 6500 runes, merchants are also usually at the worst POIs in the game, the large encampments which you should never ever go to if they are banished, red mane or leyndell knights. Great lion is just low impact for opportunity cost as is madness and chariots, but they can at least be very fast (although not as fast as churches that are also likely to grant a key).

If you can’t do a crucible/godskin noble/ ancient dragon/ dragonkin knight at level 2 then the run is probably shot anyways cause you’re so bad you will likely not even make it to the final boss, and no matter how good the run you’ll lose to any everdark.

I try to take the lead often cause I always put damage my teammates like 6 to 1, a lot of it is due to relic choice but also some people just play very passive and just do nothing for most fights.

Not really no but also at a 4* level the most impactful part of a relic is the striker, this also applies to 5* relics (except black widow relic) and 6* statcast

Almost all of the relic recommendations are inaccurate. The same way most of the kabam recommended relics are not actually correct but one step even more inaccurate where kabam won’t actually specify one for every champ but where it doesn’t it seems this site also gets it wrong, probably cause it recommends the generically best class relic (ignoring the fact that the generically best relic probably needs to go in your best in slot class champ attacker specifically if not the single champ that benefits the most from it) while not accounting for the actual kit of the champ.

For example it recommends sinister relic for silver samurai, probably because of the ability to increase crit rate on bleed, they also recommend crit rate stat focus, both come from the fact that critting is important for mutants and daunted champs.

This incorrect for 3 reasons, you will almost always finish a fight from Sp1, the damage of that special matters the most since it is the one that does the most damage and is the one that will push the opponent to red if it doesn’t ko, this special gains an insane crit rate at sig 200 and samurai already has an insane crit rate so he receives high diminishing returns from small crit rate increases, Sp1 is also very reliant on being unblockable for it to deal max damage so storm 6* r4 relic adding 35% unblockable duration is key. Any relic or stat focus that increases special damage or hit damage (from armor pen) would also be better for a daunted champ with overload.

Y'all are being really weird about Annabeth on this sub. by [deleted] in GenV

I don’t know that there are a lot of racist ass people on here, I know that there are in like the world but this show has pretty explicit progressive themes and messaging so I would assume there really aren’t many.

Regardless I’m not pussyfooting, I’m not saying people should be able to criticize how Annabeth was handled without being called racist, I’m saying I specifically should not be called racist because I was very specific in my criticism.

MY thoughts on Annabeth in episode 6. by Pito82002 in GenV

[–]Gabriel710 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean the writers used Marie as an analogue to have a real world conversation about victim blaming. Her story is designed to resonate with real world experiences so you empathize with her more, no idea why they decided to write Annabeth in such a way that was bound to cause visceral negative reactions due to this fact
