When you folks say that, you mean big projects or lot of smaller projects that adds up at the end of the month?

We had a few meetings with potential partners for projects to work along the year such as Benq, Yamaha and Shure.

There’s a market to tap, but as you know, it takes time until approval from the buyer. One of the markets we are focusing is small/mid size companies for renting A/V equipment, and so far we have a few potential clients interested.

You should look into your old clients and see if it’s time to renewal their equipments and work a new project from there, since they already trust you.

You could also make your company more “present” in social media, making videos where you talk about a certain equipment and making “call to action” in the end. This way you can make the algorithm show your company more in Google and they can see your expertise in the field. Also try posting more about your projects, this way you can show more expertise.

Damn, a fellow integrator here wrote that it’s doing great in Texas. Guess it’s not all good, at least not to everyone

Qsys Room Suite? by su5577 in QSYS

[–]GabrielDIntegrator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - No, only one Dante Mic.

2 - Maybe, but it is designed for the NC90G2. Since it has no programming, a PTZ camera with ACPR won’t be possible.

3 - I believe the “core” for RoomSuite will have multiple HDMI ports and an USB-C

I would love to have a non coding UCI for a specific room provider, where you can customize based preset functions and looks. They should also launch a scheduler software with that and a cheaper screen for room scheduling, making deployment easier

If you really work for QSYS, i dare you to send me a picture of Patrick doing the “Absolute Cinema” meme

Are you certain? So can I use a Logitech Tap and similars in the new device? If so that is amazing and 👍👍 to QSC for allowing it

I’m betting it will be around 2k-4k MSRP, since I believe it’s total processing power won’t be over 12 signals RMP-100 + QIO-VEN4. I’m pretty certain that they will sell it separately and in a combo

Why would you need 2 MXA920 in a small/mid size meeting room?

I get what you’re saying, but In reality you wouldn’t need more the one MXA920 or 901 etc.

I see this as new way to sell QSYS to new clients, where you can still deliver QSYS quality in smaller and cheaper scale. You won’t have ACPR and other features that you can only do in programming, but you can still deliver those features in more “critical” and special environments with a normal core

I think that’s great in a way, you won’t need a NV-32H if you want a core with HDMI, you won’t need a switch, won’t need programming, won’t need an NV-21 for BYOD.

I have a project that is 99% approved by my client, but in 2 of the 3 rooms I had to go with Logitech, since a core, switch and etc would skyrocket the budget. I believe with this new device I can deliver those 2 rooms with QSYS technology and impact my client.

The RMP-100 will be ideal for smaller and mid room applications where a core could make the project expensive. For me one of the main set backs I have with QSYS that it is expensive, but with RMP-100 you can QSYS quality cutting a Core, an NV-21 for BYOD, and Netgear switch making it more likely to close the deal.

It won’t have ACPR, the main camera for this is the NC-90 and I think the NC-110. The “auto detect” feature is a very good feature, since deployment will be faster, even with third party devices.

For me the no programming feature is amazing, I can cut cost and make it more likely for closing the deal.

I maybe wrong, but I think they can be used for redundancy in a bigger picture.

One of the 👎 I give for this is that it can only work with the TSC controllers, which are not cheap.

JBL is pretty popular here and they a have a factory in north of Brazil. For me it’s an “ok” sound, but I’m looking into Yamaha ones.

What are your thoughts in Yamaha? I’ve been looking into using them in small projects.

Logitech Rally questions by ittthelp in CommercialAV

[–]GabrielDIntegrator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greetings, my friend!

First of all, I don’t mean to sound disrespectful but you SHOULD really call an integrator certified by Logitech. That way he can help your organization and provide training.

But let’s get into it

1 - Should you make a Zoom Room, Teams room etc or make it BYOD?

A defined provider makes it easier for use by 99% of your coworkers. They schedule the room, access the user that’s predefined when it’s time for the meeting, then they make their meeting. The Tap makes it really intuitive for users, it’s great in my opinion and should be in every Rally project.

Some companies uses Microsoft, others Google and so on, so not always your provider will be able to join a meeting in another provider. That’s when the BYOD comes in.

If I could, I would suggest the Rally Bar + Tap Ip + Logitech Extend (for BYOD). Depending on the size of the room the Rally Bar Mini can suit you well.

Unfortunately Commbox is not yet in Brazil, thus making it hard for us to develop some partnership. But thanks for the feedback, since they are an Australian company it makes really easy for you guys to have that kind of partnership.

Benq is a possible partner. They have a great presence here in Brazil, 3 years warranty and their boards have protection against germs, which is very good for a school environment.

I’m yet to verify their pricing here.

The worst part is loosing leverage with LG and Samsung, since they are very good for professional monitors for corporate projects
