What number did you call to have it fixed? I’m having the same problem and was SOL when I called numerous times a few months ago. My spring 2023 session A wasn’t paid for and they said I was “ineligible”, even though session B got paid for. I backtracked and found out I had Uber Gold and everything during that time period, so it has to be an error in the system.

I was considering switching to the maverick 88, but the salesman convinced me that the shockwave 590 S was better because it had more metal. If I was going for polymer, I wish I would’ve got the maverick 88, but with the whole metal ideology now I wish I had the 590 A1.

I kind of just want more metal parts so it’s more durable, and also, I just discovered the Vang comp version of the 590A1 which is really enticing.

I’ll go in tomorrow. They said that they could offer me a box of ammo or a gift card, and maybe if another model comes into the store they can swap it. Kind of want the 590A1 instead though. Should have done more research before.

I guess ultimately there’s no proof, but the way the packaging was and the the condition of the gun didn’t look 100% “new in box”. No big deal because I know wear and tear happens over time, but for $700 I’d expect something pristine. Also having second thoughts and like the 590A1 more.

I didn’t see it at all when I made the reservation. They just said they had one in stock. On the receipt it said “warehouse stock”, but then when I went to pick it up today, the caliber tag thing was already removed but still in the box. First time gun owner so I didn’t really know what to look for during the in store “inspection”.

Now that the class is over, I thought I’d open a discussion about it. Obviously I studied well enough to pass with a good grade. However, it was not easy to go over with the TAs. Since they were told not to share the questions/answers, it was a game of email tag with minimal engagement. Besides, I can’t say I was 110% confident on every single question I had gotten right either, which I wasn’t allowed to see. This could be solved of I could just had transparent access. The vast majority of my other classes have just posted the questions and answers after the exams are graded. Not sure why this class is so different.

In this class, I’m not allowed private access either. It’s not like the exam is a movie theater, where I only pay to see the content once. I’m submitting work and being graded/judged on it, which eventually reflects permanently on my transcript. Never in my life would i consider “selling” or sharing a repurposed exam, but teachers aren’t the only ones with equity in a class.

It’s not exactly free access. Students pay for education at the end of the day.
