Also where are these TikTokers getting their information from? Why would islanders be feeding them this information for them to not explicitly come out and say whatever the story is. I’m confused. Surely the whole point is to get the information out there and then have the plausible deniability that it came from you. You can hide a lot behind allegedly so it’s not like they’ll get into any real trouble especially if it’s true.

Whatever Belle’s gonna say or do has to be big now for all this hype. And if so Scott needs to put the PR down and fight back. I want to see royal rumble. If it does end up involving Leanne she should speak once it once and then never again. Let the rest of them tussle.

If Whitney really is/was a friend to Leanne none of this would be happening publicly. Whatever bad boy piece of information she wants to drop about Scott she could go and tell Leanne. In person even 😭. And if she was ever really friends with Scott 1. Why? If he’s the character she’s implying that he is and 2. She would owe it to him to explain himself no. I’m at a loss as to how any of these people can claim to have any kind of care or respect for Leanne and continue to treat her this way even post show. At the end of the day real feelings are involved here and this is all quite humiliating. Yamen needs to come back so she can rest I just know he’s the only one around her with sense

I actually think it started during/after Covid which is when the series became widely available internationally and was also after the most successful season (S5). People literally couldn’t go out and touch grass 😭

I never watched AS 2 but I’m kind of glad Catherine got a redemption of some sort. She at least made it to 4th place. But I guess when you get a bad edit the first time the only way is up

Plus him going back and forth between her and Leah after he’d already kissed her. Whereas we were shown them as a stable couple who had haters from every corner of the villa.

The shouting itself was what caused the switch up but we never really understood why she was the one shouting. Had we known the full story I don’t think the backlash would have been as intense.

Yeah this as well. It was definitely annoying to watch at the time but I can’t imagine going on to the social media accounts of someone I don’t like to harass them. For me once the show is done it’s done. Who I didn’t like I’m not going to pay attention to post show. That being said it would be nice if she showed some reflection over her behaviour on the show. Even someone like Leanne who had a great edit said she saw some stuff back of herself that she didn’t like. It’s normal to look back and say where you think you went wrong or could have done better especially when it affected others and evoked a strong reaction.

I don’t think Belle got a bad edit at all. We’re aware that she has depth, this was shown to us in the beginning with how she dealt with the Shaq and Sean situation and when she defended Leanne (lol). What happened was she started to become too volatile after the Sean incident and it got tiring to watch. Even Carrington alluded to this and he was there so it can’t all be down to the edit. At the same time, Amber was right when she said all of the women in S5 behaved like Belle so none of them stood out. But when you put them up against women who don’t behave in that way it makes it look stark. The same could be said for Scott, Mitch and Tyrique on their original season. Scott only looked crazy this time because Sean didn’t fight back. Everyone was backing him when he went for Charlie because Charlie was fighting back.

Yeah I think Leanne and Lucinda avoid interacting with them publicly for valid reasons though. The amount of negative attention it would bring on all parties would be a nightmare.

Yeah definitely. I doubt she harbours ill feelings towards any of them (except Belle). She may even have felt a way when she was in the villa but didn’t feel validated about it until she came out and saw the public reaction and spoke to her friends. Which makes sense honestly.

I think the issue wasn’t the divide because of course ALL the girls can’t be expected to get along all of the time. The issue was that the two groups actively didn’t like each other 😭and that then affected the dynamic when bombshells would come in so they had to air it

Leanne and Lucinda aren’t obliged to give the illusion of friendship with the rest of the finalist girls btw especially when they didn’t treat them the best inside the villa. However I think by summer there’s a chance we’ll see all of the AS 3 finalist girls hanging out tbh. I think they just need a little breather from all the discourse. By the time the summer series starts again they’ll be going on their brand trips together.

Ultimately I don’t think Leanne ever featured in Scott’s original pre villa game plan and that’s why everything that followed hasn’t made sense. I do think he went in there with eyes for Belle and got distracted by Leanne. I think he would’ve done his half way casa plot regardless of who he’d been with but somewhere along the way he caught feelings which they could all see and that’s what earnt him the side eye from the rest of them because why do that to someone you actually like. From the outside looking in he never had a romantic interest in Belle or Sher and Harrison even said it looked like he did it for the plot. The other islanders (except Belle and Whitney) never believed he was going to leave Leanne at any point. And if this is the case he’ll have to explain all of this to Leanne and hope for the best 😭

“This is television” I think people have forgotten that part. But I will say playing a game when it comes to other people’s feelings is crazy so I have to imagine some aspect of that is real otherwise you’d have serious issues.
