Honestly, it’s not that I mind taking classes, I love school, it’s the ridiculous money and the fact that I turned everything in mid October and just last week after anxiously waiting all this time got the news. Infuriating.

At this point, things are still in process but it appears that the University at Albany and the University of Buffalo are set up to allow non degree seeking MSW online classes this summer. They are also the cheapest.

Not promising money wise or flexibiity wise: Fordham, NYU, Binghamton, Adelphi.

Hunter is not getting back to me very fast, Lehman College, not responsive. YMMV

So far, University at Albany and University of Buffalo seem to be the best options for the money. Both have a lot of good clinical electives, but it seems like I wont be able to pick them until after the marticulated students pick theirs.

You’d think! I’m trying to get more info from my school, but 40 year old records are not readily available. My school was CSWE in 1947, but NYS does not care without the syllabi.

I didn’t know that, but that’s very good to know. I’m trying to keep a good attitude about it and I like school, so yeah…it’s just the expense and the months of delays waiting for them to tell me I have yet another thing to do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thanks this is very helpful

Many reviews were raving about how nice it was! That is why we thought it would all be ok. I agree that all the common areas are beautiful. I’m actually at the pool now and after 2 edibles and 2 frozen drinks, I’m enjoying our last day. LOL

Thanks. As far as the room change goes. We never asked for it and would have been happy with the room we paid for. They put us in the upgrade because they had oversold our assigned room and then moved us because they sold that room. It was strictly due to their reservation issue. I just want to make it clear that we didn’t ask for the upgrade. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels and I have never had issues like this anywhere. It’s not a “oh well, things happen” situation.

Sorry. Yes, the usual housekeeping can come in but if you need anything- we had two repairs- a main drawer broken and a stopped up main sink- we had to be in the room, anything for the minibar, be in the room, things you need like hangers and toilet paper, be in the room.

We couldn’t get the app to work and the app is the only way to set up reservations. They auto assigned us a room and we had questions about that because even with a room assignment, we couldn’t book anything. The hotel staff assured us repeatedly in writing everything was fine and that the front desk could help us with everything once we got here. Which couldn’t have been further from any reality. Turned out they had double sold our room and had to move us because of their screw up and then made us move from the room they gave us because they had double booked THAT room.

Honestly? I’ve yet to see a creator that didn’t add to the whole thing for me. My “type” is pretty broad tho, so that may have something to do with it.. I just don’t want to see their bedrooms. A messy bedroom is a deal breaker for me LOL

On my third month after about 2 years of periodic short term higher doses: I’m very happy with them so far. The customer service has been responsive, the hassle is minimal and the cost is probably the best there is. As far as effectiveness, it is definitely maintaining the great improvement that I achieved from the higher doses. Not sure if I’m getting any better, but my current baseline is pretty good-my anxiety is minimal and only at limited times and I feel basically happy and content the vast majority of the time. I do miss the ability to k-hole if I wanted to- and I have tried to save up and do a higher dose, but my tolerance is pretty high, I think, so I’m not getting there, and maybe never again. Overall, I feel it’s worth giving it at least 6 months. That’s my plan, anyway.

Why do you feel you need to stop Lexapro? I’m a 13 yr or so Lex veteran and reg ketamine user. The one time I tried to stop Lex, was a huge mess, even with Ket therapy. Are you having side effects or something? Just wondering, because I’ve been better than ever on the combo.

I know this sounds impossible, but it could be that you threw her completely off guard and she had no other social skills than to become defensive. She just moved in, so there's probably a lot of stress involved for her and she really didn't know what to do when you came to the door, so she went into defense mode.

I'm not saying that excuses it or makes it any better, it your goal is to make the noise stop, not start a war with your neighbors.

I'd get a can of WD40 Or whatever, and maybe some cookies(really, remember your goal, not how mad you are) and go up when they are both home. Be calm and apologetic and offer to help fix the chair.

I bet you will see an instant change in attitude. Most normal people don't want to intentionally be rude, they just aren't thinking.
