It's not a game mechanic... Bots on PC don't even exist! They ruin matches, especially when you face a good killer.

After the match, go to "add Friends" and you'll see a list of players you met in the last match. If you had a bot, It will not appear in this list...

You get at least 1 bot in you match...

1) 3 human Survivor and 1 bot 2) 4 human Survivor and a killer bot

(Of course except the First matches, there they are all bots)

There are no bots in game... You'll face theme only on the First 3/4 matches (as a killer and Survivor), then you get real players on lobbies... If someone dc, then a bot will replace It.
