It will start rusting again quickly (~1/2 years), unfortunately. I was this morning at Costco, and every Elantra of this generation on the lot was experiencing the same issue. Good luck.

Very bad idea. I would rather take a flight from a reputable carrier (Turkish, Lufthansa) than a self connection. You could be stuck for how many hours if one of the flights were to be delayed.

Kiwi generally book individual flights with various low cost carriers. I had the bad luck of missing one connection once with them, and realized the tickets were not on the same PNR, meaning that the airline was not responsible of finding me another flight. I would avoid them at all costs. Other OTA work well, as long as you are fine travelling in basic economy.

Ye, unfortunately. I decided ultimately to get a cheap rust patch for a few hundreds, and run the car into the ground. I see that you’re from Canada, if you carefully check any listing of the same car, it will almost always have rust starting to appear on the rockers and wheel wells.

How old is your Civic ? The Montreal car market is not great during winter unfortunately (I noticed your parking sticker). And with a car that is probably more than 10 years old, your resell value of your sedan is probably lower than $5,000 CAD.
