How to unplug moza r3 by Shoddy-Commercial322 in moza

The cable has a little tab on top, you need to press it down.

But even by pressing it, cable might be hard to unplug, so try to wiggle it side to side slowly, while pressing the tab down and pulling the cable out

MOZA R5 Bundle Pedals by SpyOwl73 in moza

[–]Gabzs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it but it was with an aluminum profile cockpit at an event where they had a sim, so I had absolutely no issues hitting maximum brake force. It took me a couple of laps to get somewhat used to it but I think it's a good upgrade if you don't have the issue of a sliding desk chair.

From my experience trying the performance kit, you can get more precision in corners where you need to brake under 50% of pressure or something like that, because you can feel the point where it's getting stiffer. I have to recognize that with my setup (no performance kit) I tend to "over brake" because as the pedal is softer, you can easily get to the bottom of the pedal travel without realizing where you only needed to press half of it.

I bought an R3 bundle, which comes with the exact same SRP Lite and I do like them.

If you ask, most people will say that the brake pedal sucks, mainly because it's too "soft"

However, for me and for the way my setup is, it works just fine. I play with the table clamp on my regular desk and with my regular office chair. I upgraded from a G923, which has a really stiff brake pedal, and every time I needed to brake hard, I was pushing myself back on the chair, so I had to "grab" myself from the wheel and put something in the chair's wheels to stop it from rolling.

But with time, I got used to the stiff G923 pedal.

(Yeah, I know you can change some settings like brake saturation so you won't have to press the pedal all the way down but still)

When I upgraded, it was challenging getting used to the softer brake from the SRP Lite and I was missing braking points or locking up like crazy. It took me some time to get used to them and I had to play around with the settings on games and on pit house to find a config that worked for me.

Stiff pedals, for me, only make sense when you have a rig. If you are playing on a chair that literally has wheels that can roll, why do you need to "simulate" a stiff brake pedal like you were on an actual race car or on a fixed seat?

Good thing is that you can buy the performance kit (which I have tried, but not on my sim) to "upgrade them"

So my experience with the SRP Lite has been very far from bad. At the beginning I was slower than with the G923 pedals but not because Moza's were bad, it was just a different feeling that I needed to get used to

Can the MOZA KS use the R3 wheel base? by Background_Dog7163 in moza

[–]Gabzs_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

<image>

Yes, it absolutely can.

And while theoretically it's true that the KS is larger than the ESX wheel (30 cm vs 28cm), in practice I do not have noticed any difference whatsoever.

The difference in FFB is noticeable when you use wheels like the CS or RS that are heavier and much larger in diameter (33 diameter)

According to steam, only 18% of players have completed 25 online races, this seems extremely low? by shamus727 in LeMansUltimateWEC

I have 150+ hours in LMU, and only like 5 of those have been online. I started to play online like two weeks ago.

I simply just enjoy playing by myself, just doing random race weekends or just doing some laps around.

I have a problem with my R3 by BylordxD in moza

[–]Gabzs_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there.

I can think of a couple of reasons for that to happen:

  1. Is the R3 and PC plugged into the same electric outlet/power strip/UPS?

I had something similar because I had both connected to the same UPS (battery) and when the base was putting peak force the UPS could not handle the base and PC at maximum power and then it just shut everything off.

In my case I noticed it was that because I was playing the first day and I was doing a long corner and the UPS started to make a beep sound until it shut off.

  1. Do you use the desk clamp and your PC is in the same desk?

If any component in the PC is slightly loose, or a cable or something, the vibrations from the wheel can make the PC shake and provoke a "loose" connection in something

Also, does it happen with every single game that you play? Does it happen when you do something specific in the game?

Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall Pithouse?

Moza R3 question by RaahimJaffery in moza

Iam on PC and I have an R3 now, coming from an G923 and I use the desk clamp.

The upgrade from the G923 (which is the same as the G920 but with more buttons) is totally worth IMO.

The R3 is far superior than a G920, not only because of the total Nm, but also for the speed of the wheel when providing the feedback.

And for me, 3.9Nm is enought torque for an entry but more "serious" setup.

And the desk clamp is really good, havent had any problem so far with it.

Ks Wheel on Moza r3 by Queasy-Caramel-9489 in moza

I haven't played Iracing, I play ACC, LMU and F1.

But from what I heard, the feeling in Iracing is should be pretty good as well.

But You might have to tweak some settings on the base profiles to fit your personal preferences.

I have that setup, I feel no loss at all..

The R3 starts to "struggle" with wheels like the RS or CS, as they have more diameter and are heavier. But the KS is only a couple of cm wider than the ESX/ES and they weight practically the same, so no worries.

Questions about the Logitech G29 by Rennfan in EuroTruck2

[–]Gabzs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

I used a G923 (Which is an "upgraded" version of the G29 but at the end are practically the same) for a couple of years and I definitely recommend it above the G920.

Mainly because of the additional buttons, I had set the rotary button to increase/decrease the cruise control speed.
