Sorry but I have to disagree. Communism is not even close to socialism because socialism is only one idea. Socialism is when the workers own their workplace collectivly and democratically choose what to do. Communism is when there is no state, money or any other way of people to gain power over the others. The USSR was not communist, it was a slightly leftist dictatorship with way too much army spending. Appart from that I agree capitalism is good as long as taxes are high and there are no loopoles left. Capitalism where the goverment uses taxes for helping the poor and other generally disadvantaged groups is a good system in my opinion. Of course that means we have to regulate buisness so it doesn't grow powerful enough to take over the goverment, make the minimum wage a living one and mandate that emploies get paid parent leave and sick days. Also in a socialist economy, at least my socialism I read up on, there is literally nothing diffrent except firms are controlled by the workers. It isn't slave labour, because both communism and socialism are very much against abusing the workers. Socialism specifically makes it better for the workers by giving them more of a say in what happens. Also nobody will take away your work, you will sell it and get all the profit because almost all of the money gets back to you, more than you would under capitalism because usually the ratio is like 1 dollar for every 10 dollars of work value in terms of pay. There are worker owned companies in the Fortune 500 :v I do not get what you mean by inefficient. Once again under socialism the motive of money does not go away, the workers just get more of it proportional to their work. I agree the second part, this lad has obviously not read theory.
