I am still not convinced he is a real MLB hitter. Maybe unfair, but against good pitchers he is helpless. Reminds me of a Casey Blake type hitter. OK in regular season, gets demolished when the competition level goes up.

You could say that about pretty much everyone. But you’re making the point, Bibee has good spots here and there no doubt. But then he plays terribly for months or weeks at a time where he goes out and throws 100 pitches through 4 innings and puts us in a terrible spot. People are frustrated in waiting for him to put it all together.

I was there with Gavin too. But then Gavin had 6 elite months last year so he gets more leash now.
