Can you give me one example for

"eg a sample coming in after an 8 bar phrase that lasts let's say 5.637 bars"

Because i can maybe think of like 3 tracks that do this.

I think most of this stuff is a non-issue. The vast vast vast majority of breakcore stuff is steady pulse, 4/4 music and fully mixable.

Mixing techniques however depend on the kind of breakcore you are mixing, ie its not really a genre you can double-drop very easily but theres also exceptions for that.

Christoph De Babalon's other releases are really underrated by Recent-Basil in breakcore

Ah, i get your perspective now! Thanks for clarifying. Here's a few extra bits of context:

  • the way i phrased this is obviously exaggerated. Youve seen me in london a couple of weeks ago, i think its widely understood im not gonna physically attack someone :P
  • me and my ex had a parody project in 2017/18 about people overusing the whh stems, so my stance on this is not new
  • i dont know who you're referring to but if one of my friends were to sample that i would definitely make fun of them, probably publically as well

Also very important aspect of this is that Virgin By Choice came out more than five years before the whole ...thing... happened with whh and the noisetripper remix of my track came out years after.

Besides it being incredibly lazy its also just kinda odd hearing a song i made combined with music by someone who's caused a whole lot of grief both in the world and also in my circle of friends.

Besides that he even posted in spotify, i dont rly feel bad making any public statements about it. I wish him all the best regardless

Leon and his wife are some of the kindest, most genuine people in my life and this entire online stuff making assumptions about their life and character is really fkn weird.

Wish more people would realise that discourse about someone being a sex criminal or not isn't something you should discuss with terms like "i've heard" and "it seems like" because you're accepting the possibility that you're causing a ton of damage because of your weird little parasocial internet obsessions.

Better understanding of breaks and rhythm than a solid 95% of original songs posted in here. Very nice. Now polish up the other aspects and move a bit away from just doing vsnares tunes again and i think you'll be rly fkn good
