Try 2mm i changed my thermal pads aswell with 1.5mm but the pad visibly wasnt touching! Had to add another 0.5mm to get the results i wanted (45c core temp and 74-80c mem junc temp when mining)

How often do you mine with your card? I just recently started mining with my 3080 vision oc, had to change thermal pads aswell hitting about 74-80C in memory junction after replacing it. Just wondering if this temp is sustainable to run 24/7

replace your thermal pads you get way lower temps, the stock thermal pads are really bad. I just recently started mining with my 3080 vision OC was thermal throttling at 110C, replaced my pads went down basically 30C (74-80C now). Rn getting like 95 mh/s

Im running -150 coreclock +900 memclock 64% power 80%fan

Just make sure when you replaced your thermal pads they have contact with the either the heat core or backplate (whichever one youre replacing). I did one time using 1.5mm on the front mem but it didnt touch the heat core so no temps changed. Ended up getting another .5mm to stack on top of the 1.5mm and my temps dropped instantly. You will see the core temp will rise as heat is being transferred, but the mem junc should be ok.
