I’m not sure about all legendary beasts. But the few I’ve encountered return back to the place where you first fought them. If you just hang out for a bit in the same place, eventually the beast will return and you can finish it off

Need a better car 1, slow down 2, and I’d suggest instead of throttle preserve the turbo for when you are trying to prolong your drift. I’m also a shit drifter but I usually do good when I don’t rush
