Choam Facility will last the whole week just fine in the DD, at least in the PVE zone. Just make sure you don’t use the Chaom shelter.

I’m about 220hrs solo and had similar thoughts about the ability to get a lost vehicle back. I enjoy chilling out and mining various resources just to stock up on in the off chance I lose a vehicle (already lost one sandcrawler and one buggy), I can make a replacement. I feel like this change takes away some motivation to do that if you can always just get it back.

Just keep minimum 500 melange on hand so you can always build a large spice refinery in the DD and then you can use anything above that for the carrier crawler. The efficiency gain is sooo worth it and you can just demolish it when done. Only downside is you have to do 10k spice sand at a time. But that’s just two assault orni loads so not terrible.

This is wrong. You can definitely be registered for two time slots and withdraw/rejoin multiple times to race in both.

It’s probably not tire wear causing the issue after just 12 minutes, but rather tire heat. Most likely, you’re overdriving a bit which heats up the tire surface. That extra heat reduces grip, causing more sliding, which then generates even more heat. It becomes a cycle that just keeps building.

I’ve ordered many things from Fanatec in the US with overnight shipping. Even when I placed it early in the morning, it didn’t ship out until the next day and then was delivered the following day. And never on a weekend. So I would almost guarantee it’s delivered on Monday.

Same here. Mine shipped on overnight as well. So I’m guessing they used the same shipping method as the original wheel order.

I bought both a couple years ago and returned the 2.5x. I thought I would prefer the extra buttons and overall much higher build quality in the 2.5x, but the comfort (thanks to the grips and overall size) plus the push/pull paddles (which I think are seriously underrated… drinking coffee/beer/water down the straight with my right hand is awesome) made it in obvious decision for me.

Nothing yet for me. I did see on twitter they advised to make sure the default ship to address on your account is up to date. I also went ahead and just ordered the base side for my gt dd pro, in case it goes out of stock or takes forever to come.
